SEN Teaching Assistant - Lewisham - Immediate Start - Full-time

Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a new and fulfilling opportunity? Empowering Learning is currently recruiting for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a reputable secondary school in Lewisham. This full-time position offers a competitive daily rate of £90 - £100 (depending on experience) and is available for an immediate start.

About the Role: SEN Teaching Assistant in Lewisham

In this role, you will be an integral part of a dynamic team at a Lewisham-based secondary school. As a motivated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant, you will provide both in-class and out-of-class support, offering 1:1 assistance to students with special educational needs.

Your responsibilities will include creating a positive learning environment, delivering targeted support to individuals, and working closely with teachers to ensure all students receive the support they need. You may also lead small group sessions for students with similar needs.

Ideal SEN Teaching Assistant:

  • Understanding of various SEN needs
  • Solid experience working with students with special educational needs
  • Immediate availability to start
  • Holds an enhanced DBS or willing to undergo the process
  • Available Monday to Friday on a full-time basis
