Management Accountant

About Our Client

Our client is a medium-sized organisation in the industrial / manufacturing industry. They are known for their commitment to quality and their reputation for excellence in the marketplace.

• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial statements to ensure accurate reporting of financial performance.
• Collaborate with different departments to develop budgets and financial forecasts.
• Conduct variance analysis and take corrective actions to address discrepancies.
• Ensure adherence to financial regulations and industry standards to maintain compliance.
• Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis as needed to support decision-making.
• Provide timely and accurate management information (MI), including monthly management accounts, weekly factory reports, and KPI statements.
• Quickly and accurately deliver ad-hoc financial and data analysis, with a focus on factory performance and overhead control.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Management Accountant should have:

• A professional qualification in accounting (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
• Solid experience in management accounting within the industrial / manufacturing sector
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software

• A competitive salary range of approximately £45,000 to £55,000
• Generous holiday allowance of 25 days
