From massive scale capital infrastructure projects building new energy generation plants, to ensuring UK critical national infrastructure grid resilience, through to enabling energy traders to settle on a half-hourly basis, our team are at the forefront.
In this role you will work with Utilities, Energy Majors, Trading Houses and Platform providers across the trading landscape, on a huge variety of projects. Typical examples of the types of work we do include new product development, market entry strategy, trading performance analysis & reporting, technology strategy, quantitative trading implementation, regulatory strategy and technology driven transformation.

As an Energy Trading Senior Manager (Power) you will:
- Support clients to transform energy trading operations to deliver on the opportunities that the energy transition creates
- Design, develop and deliver new products and services that enable business and domestic customers to participate in flexibility markets
- Support clients develop compelling market propositions, technical solutions and asset management capabilities for both grid scale and behind-the-meter flexibility
- Advise on the development of ETRM solutions to support changes to the energy landscape, including PPA growth, CFDs, intermittent generation, growth of renewables, battery co-location, etc.
- Assess trading performance in both curve and short-term developing insight to drive new sources of value in the market
- Understand the implications and opportunities from the latest changes to power trading regulations and the impact that will have on trading opportunities e.g. assets being able to participate in new markets
- Use your relationship and stakeholder management skills to accomplish team objectives
- Clearly communicate complex ideas (written, conversational and presentation delivery)
- Collaborate with digital practitioners globally to share latest thinking and insight on technology changes and implications for clients
- Develop partnerships with leading SaaS and technology provides in the energy trading and flexibility markets to support clients with market leading advice on technology driven opportunities
