Vehicle Technician Opportunity – Basildon
£40,000 OTE + Benefits
YOLO Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and skilled Service Technician / Diagnostic Technician / Master Technician / Vehicle Technician / Automotive Technician / Motor Mechanic / Car Mechanic / Car Technician to join our client’s team in Basildon. The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing, diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicles while ensuring high standards of work and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities for this Service Technician / Diagnostic Technician / Master Technician / Vehicle Technician / Automotive Technician / Motor Mechanic / Car Mechanic / Car Technician vacancy:- Carry out routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs
- Identify and diagnose faults using diagnostic equipment
- Clearly communicate repair requirements and solutions to customers
- Participate in manufacturer and in-house training
- Maintain a clean and organized workshop environment
- NVQ/City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent certification (certificates required at the interview)
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Own set of tools
- Full UK manual driving licence (maximum of 3 points)
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- MOT testing qualification (preferred but not essential)
- Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
