Production Operative

Overview:

Dunbia, is one of Europe’s leading and respected suppliers of top-quality Beef and Lamb products supplying national and international retail, commercial and foodservice markets.

We are currently looking for Production Operatives for our Retail and Primary departments.

These roles offer developmental opportunities to progress within the business with Team Leader and Supervisory opportunities and also roles within our Office Departments such as IT, Finance, Food Safety and Sales.

Responsibilities:

• Work with the manager and team to achieve the department targets.
• Ensure customer and company specifications are achieved
• Follow and be aware of the departmental SOP’s.
• Maintain the fast-paced environment in line with production needs.
• Work to a clean as you go policy, ensure your work area is kept clean at all times and ensure it is cleaned when production is finished.
• Promote and maintain Health, Safety and Hygiene standards in accordance with company rules and regulations.

Qualifications:

Requirements:

• Must display a positive and pro-active attitude.
• Work well to tight deadlines.
• Have the ability to cope well under pressure.
• Be reliable and hardworking, whilst having a flexible approach to working hours with the ability to work additional hours when required.
• Be confident and have the ability and desire to work on the manufacturing equipment within the department if required.

Three Shifts are available 40 hours per week. Overtime available.

Shift 1 Sun-Weds

Shift 2 Weds-Sat

Shift 3 Primary Shift (Abattoir) Monday-Thursday or Monday-Friday
