Infant School Teaching Assistant and After School Hub Supervisor

The new post-holder will be working within our Early Years and Infant provision (ages 3 to 6) on two days per week (Tuesday and Wednesday) from 11.45am – 3.30pm as a Teaching Assistant and 3.30pm – 6.15pm in the After School Hub.

As a Teaching Assistant, the role involves supporting pupils' learning and development, clarifying instructions, providing necessary materials, and addressing individual needs. The post-holder will assist across various subjects, promoting positive behaviour, and collaborating with teachers to implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs).

As a supervisor in the After School Hub you will be part of a dedicated team responsible for providing safe, quality care for children after the end of the school day.

A level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is essential, as is experience with the EYFS and KS1 curriculum, facilitating the transition from early years' play-based learning to the structured education of Key Stage 1.
