Hi, I'm Georgie. The people’s wedding planner.My company is called Georgina Rose Events, on paper we provide wedding planning and coordination to couples getting married … but we do so much more than that.
We provide inspiration, tips and advice to all couples getting married with the use of digital downloads, a book, podcast and so much more.
We are looking to grow the company and become THE place you start when you get engaged.
A few non-negotiable points from me; - You must have professional experience in marketing. Experience in wedding coordination or planning is preferred.
- You must be able to commute to our Gloucester office (at least twice a week).
- You must be fun. Our office is a vibe and you’ll need to fit in!

I am looking for an experienced Wedding Planner and Marketing Assistant to join a fast growing and exciting business based near the Cotswolds.This is an excellent opportunity for a self-motivated individual who is looking to help this business skyrocket. We have big ambitions and need someone to help steer the ship, bring new ideas and push our comfort zones.
Georgina Rose Events has had a busy year and with even bigger and better plans ahead, I need some support with wedding planning, coordination, marketing, website design, social media strategies and more…
Wedding planning Responsibilities:- Communication: Meeting with couples to understand their needs and budget. Continued support and communication throughout their planning journey
- Planning: Taking their wedding from idea to reality. Support in finding all suppliers, managing all aspects and logistics
- Budgeting: Overseeing the budget, and ensuring expenses stay within the set limit. Finding ways to save money and allocate wisely
- Research: Researching new products, services, and suppliers
- Advice: Advising on wedding customs and etiquette, and offering expert guidance
- Support: Being available and providing support on the day of the wedding
- Coordination: Running a wedding day. From supporting set up, to dress on to first dance – you’re with them every step of the way
- Researching: Conducting market research to identify trends, competition, and target audiences
- Implementation: Implementing marketing campaigns for all companies working under GBI Mitchell Ltd (Georgina rose events, GRE Weddings & Frugal spender)
- Creating content: Writing copy for marketing materials, blog posts, newsletters, and social media posts including pintrest and etsy selling.
- Social media management: Engaging on social media, replying to comments and DMs, managing content
- Managing campaigns: Monitoring the progress and results of marketing campaigns, and making improvements as needed
- Managing databases: Maintaining marketing databases and customer relationship management (CRM) software
- Communicating: Communicating with clients, customers, and external agencies
- Editing: Editing video content for social media, youtube and online courses
Weddings are all over the UK - some travel will be required.
Job Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: £25,000.00 per year
