What skills and experience we're looking for

L1 Full time Teaching Assistant post starting in November 2024. These are 1 term contracts to be reviewed half termly linked to SEND needs.

Welbeck Primary is an outstanding Primary school in the heart of the Meadows community. We are friendly, hard-working team and hope to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated teaching assistant to work with SEND pupils providing 1:1 support.

The successful candidate will:

  • Be dedicated and passionate about SEND inclusion in a mainstream school
  • Be flexible and adaptable, responding to change positively
  • Be an exceptional communicator with excellent organisation skills
  • Have experience working with children in a primary setting
  • Be able to work effectively as part of a team following the headteacher’s vision for the school
