Salary: £13.50 per hour

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

**A full clean driving licence and your own vehicle is desirable for this role.

We are looking for a Cluster Team Leader to oversee our established supported living services.

You will provide support to clients and staff and have 1 day per week office based.

As a Cluster Team Leader Worker at Aspirations, you will be joining a dedicated team who want to provide the very best support, encouraging individuals to follow their dreams, live independently and achieve their personal goals.

The Role

You will play a key role in the service, using your knowledge and skills to lead by example and supervise support staff, whilst ensuring the highest quality of care is provided and oversee all daily activities.
  • Enable Service Users to make choices to encourage their independence & social inclusion.
  • Conduct team meetings with the Supported Living Manager.
  • Attend keyworker meetings and represent the service user.
  • Inform the Manager of any staff related issues, which may impact upon the quality of the service provided.
  • Report any incidents, accidents, illness and risks which may affect safety in accordance with procedures.
  • Manage sickness absence and annual leave requests.
  • Produce staff rotas, ensuring staffing levels are maintained, source staff as required and carry out care duties as part of the rota.
  • Ensure daily plans, documents and weekly audits are completed.
  • Order and audit medication.
  • Carry out observational supervision.
  • Note taking for investigations.
  • Ensure safeguarding responsibilities are met and to protect the adults’ rights to live safely and free from abuse or neglect.
The Person
  • Previous experience of managing or supervising staff within Adult Mental Health, Autism or Learning Disabilities.
  • NVQ Level 3 Health and Social Care or equivalent or working towards.
  • Training in Health and Safety, Food Hygiene, First Aid and Moving and Handling.
  • A strong team player with leadership skills, ability to motivate and lead by example.
  • Ability to work under pressure and react quickly to situations.
  • Keen to develop and generate ideas.
