About Us
The Angola LNG Project is the result of a partnership between Sonangol, Cabinda Gulf Oil Company Limited (Chevron´s affiliate in Angola – hereinafter described as “Chevron”), TotalEnergies, Azule Energy Angola Production B.V., and Azule Energy Exploration (Angola) Ltd (formerly Eni Production Angola B.V. and bp Exploration Angola Ltd), to gather and process gas and deliver up to 5.2 million tons of Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) per year to the global market.Different companies manage Angola LNG’s project value chain through service agreements to Angola LNG Limited (the investor company; it owns all assets, acquires gas, sells LNG and liquids, and supplies domestic gas).
The role of Finance Assistant is for Angola LNG Marketing Ltd (“ALM”), based in London. ALM is responsible for conducting LNG marketing activities and LNG and Liquids sales operations on behalf of ALNG and managing the ALNG´s brand and all external communications.
Overview of the role
We are seeking a dedicated Finance Assistant with Accounts Payable experience to join our team at Angola LNG Marketing Ltd in London. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accurate and timely reporting and compliance with financial regulations.The Finance Assistant will contribute to various financial processes such as invoicing, expense management, and general finance administration. This position offers a stimulating work environment where teamwork, honesty and collaboration are highly valued.
Your Main Responsibilities- Process invoices and support accounts payable and receivable activities
- Respond to queries from clients and vendors regarding payment and financial matters
- Assist with the preparation of financial reports and statements
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records
- Reviewing and managing all expenses, ensuring they are submitted on time
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts
- Contribute to audit preparation and compliance activities
- At least 3-5 years of experience in Accounts Payable
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills
- Familiar in working with documentation systems including periodic review and development of procedures and retention of records
- Prior experience working with major oil and gas companies is desired but not essential.
