Join us as a Credit Risk AnalystThis is an opportunity to begin a new and exciting career within the Mortgage Credit Risk teamYoull be supporting the development of personal and private mortgage portfolios, providing analytically driven insight while assessing and recommending opportunities where appropriateWell look to you to support our credit strategy as you work with teams across the bank to design, analyse and monitor credit policiesYou can take advantage of our development opportunities and advance your career within a leading Credit Risk departmentWhat youll doAs a Credit Risk Analyst, youll be supporting the business through developing and maintaining risk and decision support strategies, providing other analytically driven insight and innovative solutions to achieve future priorities.Youll also be:Supporting the analytical requirements from the credit portfolio teams on areas such as leading indicators, forward looking credit risks and potential threats to the portfolio from wider economic and market threatsMaking sure that the personal and private mortgage portfolios continue to perform within risk limit frameworksDriving active and effective change management through the successful design, development and delivery of key strategic initiativesLiaising and influencing the franchise regarding ongoing credit customer management and projectsProviding insight and challenge where appropriate, while contributing to the automation agendaThe skills youll needTo succeed in this role, youll need a degree level qualification, ideally in a numerate discipline and experience with coding languages, coupled with excellent data driven analytical skills.In addition, youll demonstrate:A good understanding of the banking industry and a desire to develop a career in risk managementProficiency with analytical and presentation toolsProject management skills and the ability to work as a team and with stakeholdersAn ability to explain technical subject matter to a nontechnical audience
