Main duties of the job
The Housekeeper will support the multi-disciplinary team in the delivery of high quality care to patients and families. Duties include general housekeeping, overseeing departmental cleanliness, and overseeing maintenance. Ordering and stocking of ward supplies. Ensuring a safe and tidy working and patient environment including clinical areas and any other related duties at the discretion of the ward manager.
This role will predominately be based on central delivery suite, supporting the procurement of stock for CDS, CDS theatres and maternity triage. There may be an expectation to move to other areas within maternity services.

Person specification
Experience of working in health care setting
Essential criteria- Experience of working in health care setting with a range of client groups.
- Experience of working within a team/team environment
- Experience of working in NHS
- Experience of working as housekeeper
Basic literate and IT qualification
Essential criteria- Evidence of Numerical & Verbal reasoning
- IT skills
- GCSE or equivalent standard of education
- Basic computer literacy Formal qualifications
- IT qualification
