Medicines Management Assistant

To work as part of the Pharmacy Team in providing an efficient, effective, and safe pharmaceutical service to patients and customers at ward level, managing ward and patient drug stocks ensuring adequate stock is available on the designated ward by topping up stock, processing extra requests and maintaining stock levels and to dispense (within the main and satellite pharmacies) prescriptions.
In addition to ward activity you will contribute to the main dispensary service, dispensing medicines for In patients and discharge including cytotoxic medicines and controlled drugs all in an accurate and timely manner. To co-ordinate and process all stock requests for designated ward areas to ensure stock levels are maintained and excess stock is kept to a minimum.
