Are you a Band 5 Medicines Management Pharmacy Technician looking for a rewarding locum role in Essex? We have an exciting opportunity with great pay!- Job Title: Medicines Management Pharmacy Technician (Band 5)
- Location: Essex
- Duration: 6-month contract
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 AM - 5 PM (30-minute break)
- Start Date: April 2025
- End Date: October 2025
- Rate of Pay: £19 - £26 per hour

What You'll Be Doing:
Join our clients team as a Medicines Management Pharmacy Technician and play a key role in supporting patient care within a private hospital setting. In this role, you will:
- Conduct medicines reconciliation and support safe prescribing practices
- Provide expert advice on medication management to healthcare professionals and patients
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures
- Work within a multidisciplinary team to optimise patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate patient records and stock control
Requirements & Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A current and valid GPhC registration
- Prior hospital experience as a Medicines Management Pharmacy Technician
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
- A commitment to delivering high-quality patient care
Working Hours & Contract Duration:
This role requires availability from Monday to Friday, 9 AM - 5 PM. The contract is for 6 months, with a strong possibility of extension based on performance and service needs.
