At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for Warehouse operative to work with an important company known for its expertise in logistics and supply chain management, providing services such as warehousing, distribution, and transportation solutions.
Shift Patterns:
- Fixed Days
- Monday to Thursday 0730
- 1630 and Fri 1230
- Pay Rates
- Days £13.23ph
- Overtime £19.16ph paid after 39.5 hours standard.
As a Warehouse operative you will need to have:
- Experience picking stock based on part numbers and labels.
- Experience on MHEs not necessary, but would be an advantage.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and guidelines.
- Physical stamina to handle the demands of the job as this role requires some manual handling skills.
Role of a Warehouse operative:
- Operating Bradshaws: Safely and efficiently operate a Bradshaw truck to move materials, products, or equipment within the facility.
- Line Feeding: Supplying and supporting the production line with the necessary materials or parts in a timely and organized manner.
- Inventory Control: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records by documenting the movement of materials and reporting discrepancies.
- Record Keeping: Keep detailed records of material movements, deliveries, and other relevant information.
