About Our Client

• Develop and maintain financial accounting systems for cash management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit control and petty cash.
• Manage the acquisition of capital assets and ensure that assets are properly recorded, amortised and disposed of as appropriate.
• Prepare all supporting information for the annual audit with approved external auditor.
• Document and maintain complete and accurate supporting information for all financial transactions.
• Develop and maintain financial accounting systems for cash management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit control and petty cash.
• Oversee the bookkeeping function including the maintenance of the general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll.
• Manage the cash flow and prepare cash flow forecasts in accordance with policy.
• Oversee the production of monthly reports including reconciliations as well as financial statements and cash flow projections for use by management, as well as the Audit/Finance Committee and Board of Directors.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Finance Manager should have:

• A degree in finance, accounting or a related field.
• Professional accounting designation (ACCA, CIMA).
• Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles.
• Proficiency in the use of software for financial management.
• Experience in the FMCG industry.
• Strong financial system and business administration understanding.
