Your role and responsibilities

By joining our dynamic team, you will play a key role in the support and maintenance of the Local Street Gazetteer (LSG) – the definitive reference for streets across England and Wales. It's used for street works, highways maintenance, and traffic management.

You will respond to a variety of requests to ensure the upkeep of the LSG including data correction, recording new developments and investigating associated street data with our Districts.

We are also instrumental in working collaboratively with asset managers to capture, collate and maintain vital highways asset data, from street furniture to cycle routes and public rights of way to enable service delivery.

With full training, you’ll be involved in:
  • supporting a variety of highway teams with accurate and reliable data in a multitude of different formats, including PowerBI dashboards
  • using your analytical skills to manage, organise, and interpret large datasets, where your eye for detail and problem-solving abilities will shine
  • bringing creativity to the table by applying meaningful application technology and smarter working methods to boost efficiency and deliver projects
  • helping us meet financial challenges by driving innovation, cost-effectiveness, and finding solutions that keep quality high while saving resources.

We’re excited to welcome someone with passion, curiosity, and drive to our team. If you’re ready to take on new challenges, grow your skills, and make a real impact, we can’t wait to hear from you!
