TIG Welder
Workforce Recruitment and Training Leicester
Position: TIG Welder Fabricator
- Salary: 18.00 ph
- Hours: Monday to Friday 40 hours per week
- Location: Leicester
Day-to-Day Duties:
- TIG welding stainless steel and other metals (1.5mm upwards)
- Fabricating and in the workshop and at client sites
- Reading and understanding technical drawings
- Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety regulations
- Collaborating with a team to meet project deadlines
- Maintaining a professional and detail-oriented approach to work
- Occasional overtime as required by customer demand
- Minimum 5 years welding experience (with references)
- Strong understanding of engineering/fabrication workshop operations
- Knowledge of mechanical systems is beneficial
- Experience in sheet metal work and pipe
- Previous experience in food/dairy manufacturing environments (desirable)
- Coded welder certification (desirable)
- Familiarity with Permit to Work documentation and writing RAMS (desirable)
- 29 days holiday including bank holidays

- Immediate start post successful interview and weld test
