CIS Security have an exciting opportunity available for a Corporate Security Officer for a landmark office building in the City location within EC3 – the area attracts many of the world’s leading insurance, professional and finance occupiers.
About the role:
Position: Corporate Security OfficerLocation: Central London (EC3N)
Pay Rate: £13.15 per hour
Hours: Average 54 hours per week
Shifts: Rotational - Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday (Nights) Week 2: Wednesday to Thursday (Nights) Saturday and Sunday (Days)
Job Requirements:
SIA Door Supervisor LicenceCorporate Security Experience required
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
To provide excellent levels of customer service at all times
CCTV licence would be a bonus
First Aid qualification will be a bonus
The role includes you to conduct opening & closing procedures of a building, patrolling, reception duties, access control, answering incoming telephone calls, conducting emergency proceduresAble to demonstrate and deliver high quality guarding and customer service to both our clients and service users.

About You:
Able to demonstrate & deliver high quality guarding & customer service to clients & service users.Able to work in a team as well as on your own, having the ability to be pro-active and think on your feet use initiative
Be calm under pressure and confident in dealing with confrontational situations in a calm and professional manner
Physically fit to complete patrols internally and externally and able to stand/walk during shift
Confident in writing incident and shift reports
To always portray a friendly, professional and courteous demeanour, using open and appropriate body language.
To ensure that all visitors and staff are dealt with efficiently, providing an exceptional customer service at all times ensuring that their expectations are met, if not exceeded.
Have the ability to write emails and reply to emails in the correct manner and speak, very important in Corporate Industry.
Have the ability to exercise command and control and be an effective communicator to all peer groups and management levels.
Able to understand Corporate Escalation Process, - Escalate and Disseminate information in a timely manner to the correct personnel in the event or during an emergency or Incident on site.
The role includes you to conduct opening & closing procedures of a building, patrolling, reception duties, access control, answering incoming telephone calls, Conducting emergency procedures. You will be part of a team seeing this site through from refurbishment to business as usual and must be comfortable working on a construction site moving into an office environment.
