Management Accountant - Paddock Wood

Our client, based in Paddock Wood, is looking for a Management Accountant to join their team and contribute to their financial efficiency and accuracy.

Management Accountant Day to Day of the Role:

• Preparation of monthly management accounts and financial statements.
• Analysis of financial performance and contribution to cost control measures.
• Budgeting and forecasting, providing financial insight to support business decisions.
• Liaising with various departments to ensure financial best practices.
• Overseeing accounting operations, including ledger maintenance and reconciliations.
• Ensuring compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements.
• Assisting with audits and resolving any discrepancies in financial reports.

Management Accountant Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Management Accountant or in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial systems.
• Proficiency with accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical, organisational, and time management abilities.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Professional accounting qualification (CIMA, ACCA, or equivalent) is desirable.
• Candidates should be within a commutable distance to Paddock Wood.
