Be part of the Trusts Senior Nursing, Healthcare Professionals and Quality team reportingdirectly to the Director of Nursing, Healthcare Professionals and Quality Governance,taking lead responsibility for the delivery of the Trusts Quality Strategy within their CareNetwork.
Be a highly visible, proactive and accessible clinical leader, acting as a role model to andclinical resource and ensuring the sustained delivery of high standards of nursing care andservice delivery, to nursing staff, other disciplines in the trust, patients and the public.

Proactively manage the Heads of Quality, Safeguarding Nurses, Nurse Consultants(where in post), providing support, guidance and direction to achieve optimal patientquality, safety, effectiveness, clinical and financial outcomes. Responsible for implementation of effective clinical and quality governancearrangements in the Care Network including clinical incidents and risk management,safeguarding, infection prevention, CQC compliance, patient and carer involvement;management of SIRIs and complaints and developing a just and learning culture wherewe learn and engage in continuous quality improvement at the front line.

To uphold the standards of the profession in accordance with the NMC or professionalCode of Conduct and to challenge poor practice at every occurrence. Recognise andchampion excellence in care. To evaluate national quality standards and guidance, disseminate throughout theCare Network and take appropriate action to ensure compliance.
Inform and influenceprofessional and nursing practice and standards of care. To take a lead role in establishing clinical performance and quality standards and toensure that systems are in place to regularly monitor and evaluate these. To continuouslymonitor the quality of patient care and the patient experience and to put in placestrategies for continuous improvement.
In partnership with the senior nurses in the Trust support the development of alternativeand new roles within care such as assistant practitioners, advanced practitioners, ensuringthat they process the knowledge, skills and competence to positively affect patientexperience and outcome.

To work independently to ensure delivery of quality services within Care Network workingwithin policies, protocols and professional standards. Provide expert professional advice on matters related to the conduct competence andcapability of registered nurses/professionals within the Care Network.
