Quality Sampling and Testing Technician

The Role
This role will be a key member of Quality and Technical team, responsible for material/product sampling and testing on site.
Main duties include:- Full sample preparation – including collection of samples, using databases / software, recording, and completing relevant paperwork
- Routine sample analysis
- Sample checks for non-conforming product, finished product, bulk raw materials and packaged material
- XRF and NIR testing and full recording process
- Assist with complaint investigations

Criteria:- A minimum of 1 years’ previous experience in a similar role
- Degree or equivalent in a business-related discipline (desirable)
- GCSE Maths and English Grade C or above
- Working knowledge of NAV (desirable)
- Working knowledge of feed testing techniques
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work on own initiative and ability to work in a team
- Good analytical skills, numeracy accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent administration, organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively and work under pressure
- Good IT skills including Microsoft packages
- Flexible and adaptable
- Right to work in the UK

- Salary £24,000 – £27,000 depending on experience.
