Your new role
As a Civil Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
- Designing, planning, and supervising the construction and maintenance of building structures and infrastructure.
- Conducting site investigations and analysing data such as maps, reports, tests, and drawings.
- Evaluating potential risks, materials, and costs.
- Providing technical advice and resolving on-site issues.
- Ensuring projects adhere to legal requirements, particularly health and safety regulations.
- Coordinating with clients and various professionals, including architects and subcontractors.
- Managing project resources to ensure timely completion.
- Preparing and presenting reports, proposals, and contracts.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful for this role, our client is looking for candidates with:- Degree in Civil Engineering
- Actively working towards chartered status.
- 3+ years post graduate relevant experience in the areas of highways, transportation and/or active travel engineering or other disciplines.
- Proficient with engineering software like AUTOCAD, Civil3D,Revit and others
- Have experience dealing directly with clients and/or project stakeholders and forging effective relationships in a professional / customer focused manner.
