Are you an enthusiastic and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) looking for a flexible and rewarding role? Teaching Personnel is seeking dedicated HLTAs to work across primary and secondary schools in Newbury.
This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact in multiple school settings while benefiting from the flexibility of agency work.
The Role:
- Supporting teachers in delivering engaging lessons across different year groups
- Leading small group interventions and whole-class sessions when required
- Working with students of varying abilities, including those with SEN
- Covering lessons in the absence of the class teacher
- Adapting to different school environments and building positive relationships with staff and students
Requirements:
- HLTA qualification (or equivalent experience)
- Previous experience in a primary or secondary school setting
- Strong classroom management skills
- Adaptability and confidence to work in different school environments
- A passion for education and helping students thrive
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)
