The Opportunity
We are an independent veterinary practice with a proud history, serving the local community with care and compassion. Our main hospital is located in the scenic town of Windsor, offering free parking.
We are looking for a committed and caring Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) to join our team of 11 nurses, delivering exceptional care to our patients and their owners. This role will primarily be based in a hospital setting.
Many of our team members have been with us for over a decade, with some exceeding 20 years, reflecting the supportive and friendly environment we foster both in and out of work.

Schedule:
Full time / Permanent
Flexible rota average 1:3 weekend rota between Saturday & Sunday it will include the following shifts across a week and include one hour for lunch unless otherwise specified:- Dispense - 8.15am to 6pm (1.5 hours lunch)
- Theatre - 8am to 5pm
- 2nd Ops - 8am to 5.15pm
- Kennels - 9.30am to 6.30pm
- Recovery - 7.30am to 4.30pm
- Night Duty - 4pm to 10am
- Weekend - 8am to 8am
Nurses working night duties or weekends are provided with a duty room and can go to bed.
Role Responsibilities- Assisting vets during examinations and procedures
- Administering medications as directed by the vet
- Monitoring and caring for animals post-surgery
- Conducting laboratory tests
- Providing nursing care to hospitalised animals
- Maintaining accurate medical records
- Advising pet owners on post-treatment care
Registered with the RCVS as a Veterinary Nurse.
Demonstrable experience in delivering high standards of patient and client care.
Confidence in leading and managing a clinical team.
Experience in promoting nurse clinics and nurse-led consultations.
Skilled in coaching and developing colleagues to maximise team performance.
