CONTRACT DETAILS:
- Job Title - Cover Supervisor
- Start date - ASAP
- Contract type - Temporary
- Full time and part time available
- Rate of pay - £80 - £120 per day (PAYE and Umbrella available)
- Hours - 8:15 am - 15:30 pm
- Supervise and manage classroom activities in the absence of the regular teacher.
- Ensure that students follow the school’s code of conduct and behavior policies.
- Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and facilitate student engagement in activities.
- Provide support to students in understanding assignments and tasks set by absent teachers.
- Manage classroom behavior to ensure a safe and conducive learning environment.
- Assist in the preparation of classrooms and learning resources before lessons.
- Liaise with teaching staff regarding student progress and any issues that arise.
- A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; a degree in education or related field is preferred.
- Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting is advantageous.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with students and staff.
- Ability to manage classroom behavior and maintain discipline among students.
- Organizational skills to handle administrative tasks and lesson plans efficiently.
- A passion for education and a commitment to promoting student learning.
