They should assist the manager with planning and pricing menu items; ordering supplies, and supervising activities of kitchen assistants and workers are also among the responsibilities of this role.
Outcomes- Preparing and cooking meals of all types in the quantity
- Checking the quality of raw and cooked food products to ensure the standards are checked
- Supervising and coordinating activities of kitchen assistants and workers
- Work with head cook on food presentation and creating decorative food displays
- Maintaining good health and hygiene standards
