Graduate Musician in Residence (Accompanist) 2025-2026
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivational graduate piano accompanist from September 2025 who will be able to assist with both the academic and co-curricular provision in our busy and successful Music Department.
The successful candidate will be exceptionally passionate, flexible in their approach and work across a variety of musical styles and activities and have the ability to inspire and develop the talents of our students, whatever their level. Candidates with excellent piano sight reading and accompanying skills are encouraged to apply.
In addition to music making, we are looking for the graduate to undertake administrative and social media work to support our operations. This is an outstanding opportunity for an inspirational, enthusiastic and versatile graduate to join the vibrant, diverse and exciting music programme at Millfield School.
The posts run for a full academic year from September through June, with breaks for School holidays. Graduates will receive a salary of £17,781.64 per annum (inclusive of holiday pay), plus full board and lodgings (non-monetary, to the value of £3,208.66 per annum), with access to the school facilities and discounts/cashback on high street shops and restaurants through the school’s Employee Assistance Programme.
