Are you interested in working with individuals with EUPD and delivering high quality care using DBT?
We are looking to recruit a Dialectical Behaviour Therapist (DBT) to join the centralised DBT Service at SABP. You may already be trained in DBT, however full training will be provided for the successful candidate.
We are a small team and are centralised across the trust. There are 11 CMHRS who refer into our team and therefore some travel should be anticipated.

Your role will be delivering evidence-based interventions, one-to-one and in group settings, to adults (aged 17yrs+) who have Emotionally Unstable Personality Disorders both face-to-face and virtually.
This role is part-time, Tuesday - Thursday.
Main duties of the job- Have a core mental health qualification and registration (such as Psychology, nursing, social work, occupational therapy, arts therapy, Mental Health Practitioner, PWP or CAP.
- Work collaboratively with service users (and their families) to develop skills that improve their tolerance and management of strong emotions.
- have experience working with service users with mental health needs, particularly personality disorders.
- be able to work flexibly as the needs of the service demands
- Be prepared to co-facilitate DBT Skills groups and 1:1 DBT sessions.
- Attendance at a weekly consultation meeting.
- Treatment as necessary, conveying DBT and other psychological formulations with sensitivity in easily understood language.
- Adhere to an agreed activity contract relating to the number of client contacts offered, and clinical sessions carried out per week in order to minimise waiting times and ensure treatment delivery remains accessible and convenient.
- Complete all requirements relating to data collection within the service.
- Keep coherent records of all clinical activity in line with service protocols
- Assess and integrate issues surrounding work and employment into the overall therapy process
- Carry out clinical audits of service performance, including service user surveys and evaluations, and help to collate and disseminate the results for feedback.
- Liaise with other health and social care staff from a range of agencies in the care provided clients.

Essential criteria- BABCP Accreditation
- IAPT Post Graduate Diploma in Psychological Therapies
- Relevant experience in group and 1:1 interventions
- Knowledge of DBT
- experience in offering DBT.
Experience
Essential criteria- Experience in Secondary mental health setting e.g DBT TEAM, CMHRS.
