Northern Education Trust, The Blyth Academy is seeking to appoint an Assistant Cook to work in the academy canteen. The main duties of the role will be to support the Chef Manager with the preperation of breakfast, break, lunch and hospitality services according to requirements.

Salary Range:
  • Grade 3, SCP 7
  • 8, £24,294.00
  • £24,702.00 FTE salary, £17,403.04
  • £17,695.31 pro rata salary

Salary amounts quoted are from the 1 September to 31 August and therefore if you commence employment part way through the academic year they are subject to an equated salary adjustment

Working Type: Part Time(30 hours, 39 working weeks) - Paid weeks 45.942

Base:The Blyth Academy, Chase Farm Drive, Blyth, NE24 4JP

Please note:the post holder will be engaging in regulated activity, working mainly or wholly with children. This position is exempt from the rehabilitation of offender’s act 1974. It is an offence to apply for this role if you are barred from engaging in regulated activity relevant to children.
