We are seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Pyro Proof Operative to join our Pyrotechnic Department. Employ appropriate techniques and process specifications to ensure pyrotechnic proofing is carried out to the highest standards.Update SAP systems to accurately track work in progress and maintain comprehensive production records.Conduct self-inspections and quality checks, ensuring compliance with all laid-down quality standards.Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are fit for purpose and properly calibrated.Handle materials and components with care, adhering to safety regulations to avoid damage or accidents.Undertake routine maintenance of machines, tools, and equipment, ensuring cleanliness and functionality.Report any unsafe practices, faulty equipment, or safety concerns to supervision promptly.Participate in formal training programs to continuously improve skills and knowledge.Support general housekeeping to maintain a clean, safe, and efficient working environment.
What We’re Looking For:Essential Skills & Experience:
General work experience in a production or manufacturing environment.Basic understanding of engineering drawings and use of measuring tools/equipment.Knowledge of Health & Safety policies and procedures.Strong attention to detail, with excellent verbal communication and teamworking skills.Basic PC and SAP skills for data analysis and record-keeping.
Desirable:
Experience in proof testing within a similar environment.Recognized engineering apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 in Engineering Practices.
