We’re hiring for a Support Worker in St Austell

We have an opportunity to work in one of our settings in St Austell supporting people individually or in a small group living in their own homes. Their interests, abilities and needs are varied, but all enjoy a full life doing the things they enjoy and need at home and in their local communities.

The support you provide will be centred around each person’s values, preferences and needs which could include developing daily living skills, personal care and medication needs.

Working in friendly teams you’ll be supported in your role from day one. All support workers work flexible shifts to provide a 24/7 service to the people we support. Visit our website for more information.

Your responsibilities:

  • To empower the people we support to live the lives they want to lead
  • To develop daily living skills.
  • Support the people we support to access their communities for socialisation, employment, training or friendships
  • To contribute to, develop and implement the individuals care plans.
  • To communicate effectively and professionally with people we support, their family members, and external professionals.
  • Maintain the health needs of the individuals we support
  • A full manual driving licence is essential for this role.
