Technical Planning Assistant - Leicester
Grade 4, £25,584 up to £28,624 per annum pro rata
37 hours per week, permanent contract
An opportunity has arisen for a Technical Planning Assistant within the Development Management Team. Your role will be to assist Planning Officers in answering general planning enquiries and other technical tasks associated with the principal activities in Development Management.
The role will also involve dealing with a caseload of planning applications related to prior notifications, certificates of lawfulness and trees.
The successful applicant will demonstrate qualities of sound judgement and initiative, an understanding of technical drawings and digitised mapping, and will have excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively manage workloads to meet deadlines.
