Part-Time Management Accountant Hours: Part-Time (flexible, approximately 2-3 days) Our client is a dedicated charity, committed to creating positive change. Seeking a Part-Time Management Accountant to help us maintain robust financial systems and make a meaningful impact.
About the Role: The Management Accountant will play a key role in supporting the charitys financial operations and strategic decision-making. You will ensure financial resources are managed effectively, providing accurate and timely reports. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and present monthly management accounts and financial reports to senior leadership.
Monitor budgets, forecasts, and cash flow to support financial planning. Analyse variances and provide insights to improve financial performance. Support grant reporting and funding applications with relevant financial data. Ensure compliance with charity regulations and assist with year-end accounts and audits.
Collaborate with team members to develop and maintain financial controls and policies. Provide ad hoc financial analysis and advice as needed. About You: We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented individual with a passion for supporting charities.
A recognized accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA) or significant equivalent experience. Previous experience in management accounting, preferably in a charity or nonprofit setting. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights.
