The ideal candidate will be skilled in creating, optimising, and distributing high-quality content across various platforms, leveraging SEO best practices and performance analytics to maximise impact.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Contribute to the development of a comprehensive marketing plan.
- Research, develop, and implement content strategies aligned with business goals, consumer behaviour, and target audience needs.
- Write, edit, curate, and produce various short-form and long-form content types while maintaining brand voice and quality standards.
- Perform keyword research and optimise content for search engines, ensuring SEO best practices are applied.
- Publish and promote content across B2B platforms to reach and engage target audiences.
- Own, monitor, and analyse marketing campaign performance and effectiveness/ROMI of specific campaigns against KPIs.
- Conduct frequent competitor analyses and scan the wider marketing landscape.
- Build and maintain good relationships with creative teams, agencies, press contacts, media contacts, and suppliers.
- Manage the content marketing plan, calendar, and asset storage.
- Use and maintain the established work management system to organise projects, tasks, and meetings.
- Utilise the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database to extract insights.
- Regularly collaborate with teams throughout the business to identify customer needs and pain points.
- Represent the marketing team at promotional events where required.
- Perform any other duties and support as may be reasonably requested by the Marketing Manager.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, English, or other related fields/equivalent qualification.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in content/creative/social strategy roles.
- An innovative outlook and proactive, adaptable approach.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in using content management systems, SEO tools, email, and social media platforms.
- Sound analytical skills to make data-driven decisions.
- Basic graphic design, video production, and video editing skills.
- Ability to handle short deadlines.
- Flexibility to travel.
