Site Engineer FRC
Location Copthall Tunnel North (UB9 6JL)
&bull Initially working with Section teams planning and producing sketches and methodologies for relevant plans and procedures for mobilising
&bull Setting up work sites with GF Works manager
&bull Working with the subcontractor to ensure the timely preparation Risk Assessment Method Statements Inspection and Test Plans Permits Consents etc for the works and that these are implemented
&bull Day to day work site coordination and planning to ensure the works are carried out safely and efficiently
&bull Ensuring Permit to Dig Temporary Works and other safety systems are implemented with relevant permits
&bull Liaison with the Section Foreman to ensure the adherence to safe methods of work
&bull Ensuring all temporary works needs are identified sufficiently early and completed in accordance with the relevant procedures
&bull Ensuring all quality checks are carried out in accordance with the ITPs and properly recorded
&bull Writing Task Briefing Sheets and RAMS for works related to FRC
&bull Tracking and recording the installation and productivity on site of steelwork and formwork installation
&bull Progressively checking the quality of the Reinfocement installed alongside the quality team and following the relevant ITPs
&bull Completing Quality checksheets for the installation of reinforcement
&bull Completing temporary works checks and pull out tests on Formwork
&bull Completing prepour checks on blinding and permanent works concrete pours And managing the delivery of concrete to site to ensure concrete pours are carried out
&bull Producing call off sheets for reinforcement orders and material requisitions for materials related to FRC
&bull Keeping an up to date stock list of all materials on site for FRC works and updating weekly with the relevant supervisors on site
&bull Completing daily site diaries to track labour materials and activities completed each day
&bull Drafting Temporary Works Briefs for designs required for base slab headwall and pillar installation
&bull Generating MCR ITP documentation for works related to FRC
&bull Setting out line and level for FRC installation and recording as built checks on reinforcement and formwork
&bull Update the 4 week programme on Aphex and on the Collaborative Planning Board
&bull Managing the supply chain to ensure that they deliver in an efficient way and in accordance with the Safety Environmental and Quality requirements
&bull Understands the scope of the works and can identify change
&bull Promoting the pursuit of excellence and continuous improvement driving innovation adopting best practice standard processes and procedures
&bull Degree or equivalent in civil Environmental engineering or similar

Key Responsibilities&bull Initially working with Section teams planning and producing sketches and methodologies for relevant plans and procedures for mobilising
&bull Setting up work sites with GF Works manager
&bull Working with the subcontractor to ensure the timely preparation Risk Assessment Method Statements Inspection and Test Plans Permits Consents etc for the works and that these are implemented
&bull Day to day work site coordination and planning to ensure the works are carried out safely and efficiently
&bull Ensuring Permit to Dig Temporary Works and other safety systems are implemented with relevant permits
&bull Liaison with the Section Foreman to ensure the adherence to safe methods of work
&bull Ensuring all temporary works needs are identified sufficiently early and completed in accordance with the relevant procedures
&bull Ensuring all quality checks are carried out in accordance with the ITPs and properly recorded
&bull The management of non-conformance reporting and managing the nonconformances on site until complete
&bull Provide support assistance and information to other teams as necessary such as Community Relations Highways and Logistics

&bull Managing the supply chain to ensure that they deliver in an efficient way and in accordance with the Safety Environmental and Quality requirements
&bull Understands the scope of the works and can identify change
&bull Promoting the pursuit of excellence and continuous improvement driving innovation adopting best practice standard processes and procedures
&bull Ad hoc duties as required by the job including briefings and attendance at the Start of Shift
Required Qualifications Skills&bull Degree or equivalent in civil Environmental engineering or similar
&bull Prior experience in Civil engineering Infrastructure projects especially experience in construction of reinforced concrete structures
&bull Relevant CSCS Card
