Are you passionate about finance and eager to support business operations with expert accounting insights? If yes, we are on the lookout for a dedicated Management Accounts Specialist to assist the Finance Business Partner in Elland.
So, what’s the role?Your focus will be on managing rebates and producing monthly management accounts for our operational and commercial overheads. This role is key to delivering financial insights and supporting stakeholders across the business.
In this dynamic role, you’ll work closely with site managers on a daily basis, becoming their go-to financial expert. Your responsibilities will span from performing essential balance sheet reconciliations and managing prepayments and accruals, to delivering insightful monthly performance reports for stakeholders.You’ll play a key role in the budgeting process and the preparation of management accounts, ensuring compliance with GAAP.
Additionally, you’ll be liaising with customers, providing critical reports on turnover and rebate earnings, supporting trading deal negotiations, and solving ad hoc rebate queries.

What skills are required?- Able to explain and simplify accounting terminology in a way that non-financial stakeholders can easily understand
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work to deadlines particularly around accounting periods
- Good excel skills: Pivot tables, conditional formatting, charts, and Vlookups
Desirable Skills:
- Finance experience within a manufacturing company
- Actively studying CIMA, Graduate or AAT qualified
- Experience using Microsoft AX Dynamics
