Senior Mechanical Handling Engineer
Job Type: Contract
Start date: ASAP - Subject to clearance
Duration: 6 months
Salary/ Pay rate/ Benefits: Up to £70/hr Umbrella
Location: Devonport
Hours of work: 35 hours per week
Applicants must have experience of the following:
- Senior engineering level experience
- Mechanical design experience
- Mechanical Handling Experience
- Nuclear, defence or other highly regulated industry experience
- Ability to understand and mark up engineering drawings
- Experience using software such as Navisworks, Revit and Inventor
- Eurocode experience
- Ability to use MathCAD
Role information:
- Draft technical design documentation including requirements, design reports, presentations and calculations
- Support on the generation of 3D models, Cad drawings and BOMs
- Draft technical queries and change records
- Ensure documentation is up to date
- Oversee the conversion of design records to 3D modelling
- Maintain and update the project registers of technical queries and design review requests
