British Sign Language Healthcare Assistant

Proline Care are seeking experienced BSL Support Workers and Healthcare Assistants to support services in the Birmingham area.

As a member of the agency, you will provide care and support to residents of nursing homes, residential homes and day centres across the Birmingham area. Vacancy details:

• Salary: 11.44 per hour
• Contract: 0 hours

Responsibilities:

• Working in variety of care and support settings.
• Assisting and encouraging with personal care
• Following Care plans and Risk Assessments
• Escorting service users to social activities
• Report Writing
• Assisting and supporting to prepare meals.
• Communicating with residents and colleagues

Experience/Requirements:

• Minimum of 6 months care experience (UK based)
• Level 1 British Sign Language
• Right to work in the UK
• Drivers and non-drivers
• Clear DBS
