Clinical Director - Community Health Services
We operate from over 150 different locations across the Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland (‘LLR’) region with over 5,500 dedicated staff providing care through three clinical directorates: Adult mental health and learning disability services Families, children and young people’s services Community health services We are now seeking to recruit a Clinical Director to lead our Community based services.
Working collaboratively with the Head of Service, you will be jointly accountable for strategic planning and decision making; financial performance, exceptional care of service users, business processes and performance. You will have a key role is the analysis and transformation of existing services and in the development of enhanced patient care pathways.
The role requires one day per week and skills in leadership, innovation and stakeholder engagement. As a registered medical practitioner with experience in community health related service delivery we will provide you with opportunities to provide inspirational leadership to achieve our strategic vision to “create a high quality, compassionate care and wellbeing for all.” Contact Details: Samantha Leak - samantha.leak1@nhs.net 07766 205744 Job Description Summary (Main duties and responsibilities) Working alongside the CHS Associate Medical Director, Executive Director and Head of Nursing, the Clinical Director will with the support of the Directorate Leadership Team, be accountable for the strategic clinical leadership of health service delivery and the effective governance of the diverse range of clinical services provided in CHS.
