Location: Remote with regular travel across England, ideally living in the Central Region of England. This role will require occasional overnight stays.
Salary: Up to £45,000

Job Description
WHAT WILL KEEP YOU BUSY:
You will be responsible for providing expert guidance, advice, coaching and mentoring to ensure high standards of safety performance across one of our group contracts.- Visiting locations to offer support to ensure locations are legally compliant as well as following company policy and industry “Best Practice”.
- Helping influence operational teams, managers, chefs and team members offering sound guidance to improve safety performance & compliance with company policy.
- Reviewing accident and incident reports to ensure the necessary corrective actions have been taken following accidents or near misses.
- Undertaking formal accident, allergy incident and alleged food poisoning investigations, working to identify root causes and compiling investigation reports.
- Supporting locations with timely completion of actions following local authority (EHO) visits.
- Support for developing, engaging and rolling out safety initiatives and information.
- Prepare reports and present at meetings both internally and with the client.
- Attend Client meetings to offer sound advice and help ensure BaxterStorey policies & practices mesh with Client requirements.
- Support the development of a strong safety culture across the contract.
- Support with online systems, to ensure compliance and raise maintenance tickets to support with location safety.
- Work with the wider Food, Health & Safety Team to review and develop safety documentation, projects, training, and safety initiatives.
- NEBOSH Certificate and Level 4 Food Safety (or willing to work towards)
- BSc or MSc in Environmental Health (desired)
- Must have full driving licence.
- You draw satisfaction from influencing, training and supporting a team.
- Possess excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Have the ability to display a real passion for food and customer service
- Keep up to date with appropriate legislation and company policy and procedures
