Teaching Assistant

Grove Road Primary School currently have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated practitioner to join the team as a Teaching Assistant, working within mainstream KS1 classes.

Job overview

You will be based within a class, delivering high-quality support for children, as well as delivering interventions and group activities for children who may need additional support or challenge. This is initially a fixed term contract until the end of July, with the potential for this to be extended.Interviews will take place the week beginning 3rd March.

Job requirements

Teaching Assistant qualification - level 3 (TA) or higher

Experience working within a Primary School, or a willingness to learn

Good written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work in tandem with teaching staff

Ability to be empathetic and understanding to the needs of students
