Teacher of Food Technology/Hospitality and Catering - London

apartmentBrampton Manor Academy placeLondon calendar_month
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an outstanding teacher to join our school as a teacher of Food, Cooking and Nutrition. This position would suit an ECT or a more experienced teacher looking to broaden their experience at an outstanding inner-city school.

A significant TLR allowance would be available to a suitably experienced applicant.

Cooking and Nutrition is taught at key stage 3 and a small group of students study the vocational NCFE Food and Cookery course at key stage 4. The successful person would play a lead role in helping to further develop the Food, Cooking and Nutrition course in our school.

We have a school farm and two well equipped, industry standard food preparation rooms to support the teaching of this course. The ability to teach another subject to key stage 3 would be an advantage.

Brampton Manor is a highly successful mixed 11-18 school located in East Ham. We are the most oversubscribed school in Newham. Our students achieve outstanding results at GCSE and A level.
