Maths Teacher

Duties as a Maths Teacher:
- Plan and teach engaging maths lessons that are creative, challenging, and interactive.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all students, from those struggling with basic concepts to those seeking enrichment.
- Regularly assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and identify areas for improvement.
- Foster a classroom atmosphere that is both motivating and respectful, where students feel confident to ask questions and take risks.
- Work with other teachers and staff to develop cross-curricular projects and ensure a holistic approach to education.
- Help students understand how maths is relevant in the real world, inspiring a love of the subject that lasts beyond the classroom.
What you require as a Maths Teacher:
- A degree in Mathematics or a related field, along with a recognised teaching qualification (QTS).
- A genuine enthusiasm for teaching mathematics and helping students develop a love for the subject.
- Ability to explain complex mathematical concepts in a simple and engaging way.
- Creative and adaptable teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Previous teaching experience is ideal but not essential if you are a passionate, newly qualified teacher ready to make an impact.
- Must be willing to undergo a current DBS check (if not already completed).
