Job overview
University Hospitals Dorset are recruiting a Retail Catering assistant to assist the Catering supervisor to deliver high standards of service in our Catering Outlets. Serving staff, visitors and patients in a courteous manner, following all procedures as laid out by the UHD trust.

Main duties of the job
Your main duties will consist of serving staff, visitors and patients hot and cold food and beverages, operating a till, clearing tables, washing up and general cleaning duties.

Qualifications
Essential criteria- Good standard of education - G.C.S.E or similar qualification/s
- Food Safety Certification / Training
- Hygiene Certification / Training
- Allergens Certification / Training
- Other relevant Catering Certification
Experience
Essential criteria- Minimum of 1 yrs experience in a similar Catering background
- Able to work on own initiative and within a team environment
- Experience of using a till
- Able to work a flexible work pattern including evenings and weekends
Personal
Essential criteria- Good standard of written and oral communication
- Well groomed appearance
