We are seeking a dedicated and experienced ASW - Social Worker with over 2 years of post-qualification experience to join our Assessment & Safeguarding team. This role is pivotal in ensuring that vulnerable individuals and families receive the necessary support and protection they need to thrive.As a Social Worker in our organization, you will work collaboratively with various stakeholders, including families, children, and other professionals, to assess needs and implement safety plans. Your expertise will be instrumental in conducting thorough assessments that inform decision-making and intervention strategies.
You will engage in empowering individuals, promoting their well-being and ensuring their rights are upheld, while minimizing risk and safeguarding those at risk of harm. Your communication skills will be key in building trust and rapport with clients, enabling you to gather essential information and deliver effective support services.

ResponsibilitiesConduct comprehensive assessments of individuals and families to identify needs and risks.
Develop and implement safeguarding plans in collaboration with clients and relevant professionals.
Provide ongoing support and monitoring of clients to ensure their safety and well-being.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation in compliance with legal and organizational standards.
Engage with clients to facilitate access to necessary services and resources.
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss case progress and strategies.
Advocate for clients' rights and represent their interests in various settings.
Stay informed about local resources, policies, and best practices in social work and safeguarding.
RequirementsA recognized social work qualification and current registration with the relevant professional body.
A minimum of 2 years of post-qualification experience in social work, specifically in assessment and safeguarding.
Strong knowledge of safeguarding legislation, policies, and procedures.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
Experience in conducting assessments and developing safety plans.
Ability to manage a caseload and work effectively under pressure.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions in complex situations.
Hours Per Week: 36.00
Start Time: 09:00End Time: 17:00
Pay Per Hour: £24.94
