The Clinical Manager for the Early Pregnancy Unit - Rose Hill will provide nursing/midwifery excellent leadership in Early Pregnancy. The post holder will act as a source of expertise, role modelling, advise and knowledge within the Early Pregnancy Team and able to effectively communicate with the wider MDT and other stakeholders.
You would work alongside the Matron for Gynaecology and the Gynaecology Clinical Lead as a part of multi - disciplinary leadership team to lead strategic and operational development of the unit alongside the development of an effective urgent gynaecology pathway.
If you are an experienced Nurse or Midwife with evidence of relevant background in Early Pregnancy and interested in enhancing your leadership skills, please look not further. Both Advanced Clinical practice and Sonography are desirable but not essential, as stated in job spec.
the Early Pregnancy Unit is the first Nurse Lead community base unit in the country, offering highly specialists and excellent care to patients experiencing difficulties in their first trimester of pregnancy. the unit has been awarded with many recognitions and recently mentioned in national papers for their excellent care.

As a skilled independent practitioner undertake clinical duties in the Early Pregnancy Assessment Unit / Gynaecology Department.
Working collaboratively with colleagues, members of the multi-disciplinary team to provide a high standard of patient care.
Provide a high quality, efficient service and demonstrate clinical expertise in Early Pregnancy / Gynaecology.
Assess, diagnose and provide appropriate management, patient information and follow up, in line with local protocols and NICE guidelines.
