At Teaching Personnel we have a huge need for Part Time Teachers in the Hillingdon Borough!
what you would be doing - As a PART TIME Teacher what you would be doing will vary, if you're doing day to day sickness cover then we would call you up in the mornings and see if you are available for the day. Block bookings we would be you in for a week or two so we can cover prolonged absences.and then there is also the oppotunity for 2/3 days permanent work for those looking for a shorter work week!

- Completing all records and assessments determined by the school’s policy.
- Making use of ICT to enhance understanding of tasks and lessons.
- Organising resources for the subject/area so that they are accessible, orderly, well labelled and appropriate.
- Involve pupils in self and peer assessment.
- Using a variety of teaching and learning styles to ensure and maintain high standards of learning, behaviour and progress in the class.
- Create and build appropriate teacher – parent relationships.
- Prepare pupils for going into next academic year.
- Liase with other teachers regarding pupil information and needs.
- Always operate within the set policies of the school.
- Leading classes by giving lectures, demonstrating tasks, assigning tasks and encouraging discussions.
- Answering students questions.
- Qualified Teaching status (QTS) is essential.
- Experience in a variety of age groups
- A good understanding of the curriculum and behavioural management techniques.
- Reliable.
- Punctual.
- Compassionate.
- IT competent.
- Presentable and professional.
