SEND Teaching Assistant (Primary)

The Head Teacher of a popular Roman Catholic Primary School in the local Blackburn area is looking for a Teaching Assistant to support in a pupil on a one to one basis.

The pupil is in a Year 5 class and needs support to manage behavioural needs, the hours required for the role are 845am to 1245pm. The role may require you to support other pupils in a group setting as and when required.

The school aims to create a welcoming, family atmosphere, one of warmth, security, trust and friendliness where clear Catholic beliefs are mixed with encouragement and challenge to stimulate the child.

This role is to start as soon as possible for the successful candidate,

• Knowledge and Understanding of the KS2 Curriculum
• Experience supporting children in KS2 classes
• Relevant Teaching Assistant Qualification
