Job Description
As the Sales Director, you will:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve company targets and objectives.
- Lead and manage a team of sales professionals, ensuring consistent performance and motivation.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the client base.
- Analyse market trends and competitor activities to inform sales strategies.
- Maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
- Prepare and present sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Collaborate with other departments to align sales strategies with overall business goals.
The Successful Applicant
The successful Sales Director should have:
- Proven experience in a sales leadership role.
- A strong commercial background where you can demonstrate a clear track record of success
- B2B Sales experience, preferably into the SME sector
- A background in areas such as IT, Media or Business Services
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- A strategic mindset with the ability to drive results.
- Proficiency in analysing data and generating actionable insights.
- Experience in managing and developing high-performing teams.
- An ability or willingness to work from their Yorkshire office
- Knowledge of sales tools and CRM software.
